Andrey Lobachev Work: analysis and design of ultrasonic electroacoustical transformers and instruments for surgery. Bauman State Technical University. Main results: Research connected to analysis and design of ultrasonic electroacoustical transformers and instruments for surgery has been done. The theoretical and experimental investigations of pretwisted beam instruments-concentrators for the traumatic surgery have been carried out. These instruments-concentrators are the constructive elements of the new generation ultrasonic drills for the holes drilling and fasteners insertion in the bone tissues (RU patent (c)2072801 Ultrasonic surgical instrument, class A61B17/32 ). The application of these ultrasonic drills allows in practice to decrease drilling force in two times, to decrease necrosis area, to increase continuous working time in several times. Mass and dimensions of these devices are decreased in 1,5-2 times in comparison with the present ones. The interaction between biological tissues and instruments-concentrators, vibrating with coupled longitudinal-rotational vibrations have been researched. Software for the calculations of pretwisted beam variable cross section concentrators, coupled longitudinal-rotational vibrations with external and internal energy dissipation have been developed. Software for the calculation of main geometrical characteristics of beam concentrators with intricate configuration, such as geometric torsion stiffness, flexural center coordinates, shear coefficients and other have been developed. |
