Main results: Investigation of dynamic properties of liquids is an actual problem of condensed matter physics. There are many materials which main characteristics are rheological properties. Such are lubricants, polymers, oils. Experimental research is carried out by acoustical methods. In this work an experimental procedure for investigation of shear visco-elastic properties of liquids by acoustical resonance method has been modified to 40 kHz. An experimental procedure for investigation of dynamical properties at 40 kHz has been worked out. Experimental research of dynamical shear properties of liquids was conducted in order to study of the low frequency visco-elastic relaxation in liquids. Experiments with different organic liquids (glycol's, oils, acids, alcohol's, polymer solutions) have been carried out. It was shown that all tested liquids possess measurable values of the storage G' and loss G'' moduli at experimental frequency. Visco-elastic parameters of liquids are measured under different conditions with the thickness of the liquid interlayer being much less than the shear wavelength. It was shown that shear viscosity and storage modulus decrease with shear deformation increasing. The hypothesis about a micro inhomogeneous structure of liquids has been suggested. It is assumed that in liquids there are fluctuation clusters - dynamic ordered volumes. The mechanism of low-frequency visco-elastic relaxation in liquids is probably connected to breaking of the cluster. The energy of activation of this relaxation has been estimated. Main publications:
