Optoacoustic Lab at N. N. Andreyev Acoustics Institute was founded in the middle 70 s to study physics of interaction between high power laser radiation and condensed matter. The ultimate goal was to develop intense sound sources for hydroacoustic applications. Research was guided by Professors Leonid M. Lyamshev and Konstantin A. Naugol'nykh. At present, our Lab is headed by Professor Sergey V. Egerev.
