  1. Stanislav Nickolaevich Samolenkov
    Photo of Samolenkov Date of birth: 02.12.1967.
    Education: St. Petersburg State Electrical Engineering University.
    He studied acoustics at a postgraduate course in 1990-1993 received Researching Engineer diploma in 1993. He was awarded by the grant of the Acoustical Society of America in 1997. Now he works for "Technopark" of the St. Petersburg State Electrical Engineering University as a Software Specialist. General scientific interest of Stanislav Samolenkov is industrial ultrasonic applications.
     
  2. Natalia Voronina
    Date of birth: 30.03.1974.
    Education: St. Petersburg Marine Technical University.
    She was awarded by the grant of Acoustical Society of America in 1997. She is currently a postgraduate student at the Physics Department of the same University. She also works as an engineer at the Krylov Shipbuilding Research and Development Institute at St. Petersburg. Natalia Voronina's general scientific interest is investigation of acoustical properties of cold two-phase mediums based on seawater and hydrogen.
     
  3. Andrew Alexandrovich Smirnov
    Work: "Volume Sound Absorbers".
    Date of birth: 07.02.1975.
    Education: State University of Cinema and Television.
    He was awarded by the grant of Acoustical Society of America in 1997. He is currently a post-graduate student at the Acoustics Department at the same University.
     
  4. Natalia G. Pozgaeva
    Date of birth: 23.02.1975.
    Education: State University of Cinema and Television.
    She was awarded by a grant of the Acoustical Society of America in 1997 to complete investigations on quality criteria of sound transmission in closed space.
     
  5. Alexander Vladimirovich Kudaev
    Photo of Kudaev Work: "Methods and means of automobile acoustical comfort creation".
    Date of birth: 30.12.1974.
    Education: Baltic State Technical University.
    He proofed his B.Sc. on "Noise control during start of some ballistic rockets" in 1996 and M.Sc. on "Automobile air-borne noise reduction" in 1998. Alexander Kudaev received the grant of the Acoustical Society of America in 1997. He entered the post graduate course in 1998. Alexander Kudaev works as a volunteer for an abstract journal "Noise" published in Russian for many years. He is a member of the Organising Committee of the conference "Advances in Ecology and life protection" held in St. Petersburg annually since 1995. He is a member of Audio Engineering Society (AES) and Noise and Vibration Control Society (NVCS).
     
  6. Vladislav Olegovich Zhirugov
    Date of birth: 10.06.1975.
    Education: Baltic State Technical University.
    He got interested in measurement techniques already at first courses of the University. Since 1995 he was involved in noise measurements for various experimental researches carried out at the Department. Vladislav Zhirugov received the grant of the Acoustical Society of America in 1997. He stopped his acoustical research after graduation from the University being not able to find suitable job in this area.
     
  7. Ruslan Mutalibovich Urchukov
    Date of birth: 19.04.1976.
    Education: Baltic State Technical University.
    Since 1995 he was involved in vibration measurements held at the Ecology Department of the Baltic State Technical University. He investigated vibration influence on radio equipment and remote control systems. He was awarded by the grant of Acoustical Society of America in 1997 to continue his researches. He is a member of Noise and Vibration Control Society (NVCS).
     
  8. Andrey Safonov
    Date of birth: 11.07.1972.
    Education: Baltic State Technical University, St. Petersburg.
    During his studying at the University A. Safonov got interested in investigations of environmental noise control during rocket starting. He was awarded by the grant of Acoustical Society of America in 1997 to continue his researches. In 1997 he entered to the post graduate course to study Environmental Acoustics. He works now in a software company producing and selling various software products including those for environmental noise control. He is a member of Noise and Vibration Control Society (NVCS).
