A packet of large-amplitude internal waves observed on sharp thermocline on shelf are considered. It was shown that the packet consists of solitons. Numeric simulation of effect of observed waves on sound field for the case of packet's propagation across acoustic trace was carried out. The impact of internal solitons on acoustic propagation for different length of trace and frequency of transmission were analyzed.
